Course organisation and requirements

    The Photography course meetings will be held on every Monday at 9.30 A.M. The meeting lasts for 1,5 hour. There are four exercises that should be completed in order to finish the course. Students should deliver photographs for each excersise. The best shots will be selected and copied to personal folders. The minimal number of photographs selected for each exercise is 4. It means that 16 photographs should be selected in order to finish the course. All the presented photographs should be in JPG format, not exceed 5 MB, keep aspect ratio 3:2 or 1:1 and should be named by default naming (please, do not name your photos eg. 1, 2, 3, …).

    Exercise 1: Flat, abstract composition
    Students deliver a set of photographs that present an interesting composition that could be regarded as flat (no appereance of 3D space or depth) and abstract (situation or objects on a photograph should not be recognized).
    Exercise 2: Objects in light
    Students deliver a set of photographs of a scene composed of one or several simple objects together with its shadows and/or reflections. The scene is important and not the objects themselves.
